The young and beautiful Italian actress Giusy Frallonardo began her acting career in 1994 when she appeared in the movie Il Sogno Della Farfalla (“The Butterfly’s Dream” in English). This Italian drama, directed by Marco Bellocchio, was one of the films screened in the 1994 Cannes Film Festival. The story told is that of the stage, theater and family. She played a character named Attrice.
Several years passed after that before Frallonardo appeared in another screen role.
In 2001, she was cast briefly as Cinzia Chiaravalle in the Italian television series Incantesimo (“Enchantment” in English). This hospital drama series set in Rome ran between 1998 to 2008. That same year she appeared in another movie, the drama Una Bellezza Che Non Lascia Scampo as Solista, a film that merited positive reviews.

In 2006, Frallonardo appeared in the television biographical movie Giovanni Falcone, L’uomo Che Sfid Cosa Nostra, a TV-Movie based on the long life and many accomplishments of Giovanni Falcone, a Sicilian judge who reached legendary heights for opposing the Mafia. She acted in another TV movie that same year called Il Padre Delle Spose as a character named Dora. This feature centered around the story of Riccardo Catalano, a hard-working but close-minded man with a homosexual daughter named Aurora who he loses contact with for many years before they reunite and work through their differences.

After that television film, Frallonardo continued to work in television roles, this time appearing in a series called Roccantami, an Italian remake of the Spanish television series Cuentame como paso. She appeared as the character Olympia Galvano, featured in seven episodes between the years of 2006 and 2007. She acted in this television series along with her future co-star in her next television appearance, Andrea Bosca.
In 2015, Frallonardo starred in her biggest television role, appearing as the villainous and main antagonist Adelina in the mysterious TV show-drama La Dama Velata (“The Veiled Lady” in English). This Italian television series premiered on March 17, 2015, directed by the filmmaker Carmine Elia, and takes place in the latter half of the nineteenth century in the northern Italian province of Trentino. The story revolves around Clara Grandi, a headstrong aristocratic lady who is forced into an arranged marriage by her strict, distant father. Frallonardo enters into the series as the conniving aunt of Clara’s new husband, who seeks to undermine Clara in every way. Her performance received a lot of attention and positive reviews.
